The project was for the fit out to a rundown petrol station along the Calder Highway between Bendigo and Mildura. The clients specific demand was to bring a historic petrol station up to scratch to service the local community and the patrons that regularly stopped along the way. The long term master plan was to create the only B-double stopping point between the Bendigo and Mildura by the creation of a self-sufficient and sustainable stopping and service point.
Stage one of the works included the creation of a cafe and petrol station with three working petrol pumps in addition to reticulated sewage and water systems. Stage 2 master planning includes rest points, upgrades to road infrastructure and truck parking spots.
